Yun Tian, PhD |
Yun Tian holds a D.V.M. at Nanjing Agricultural University (China), one Ph.D. in Preventive Veterinary Medicine at Nanjing Agricultural University (China) and a second Ph.D. in Biological Science at Tennessee State University. She is very interested in research on zoonosis and has experience on Streptococcus suis, influenza virus, pseudorabies virus, etc. She joined the Lemieux Lab in 2022 and now is working on the borrelia project. Her studies mainly focus on using CRISPR interference (CRISPRi) technology to elucidate borrelia gene function and investigate pathogen-host interaction.
