Palak joined the Lemieux Lab as a Clinical Research Coordinator in July 2022. She works on collaborative projects between the Lemieux Lab and MGH Sexual Health Clinic to develop point-of-care diagnostic tests for sexually transmitted infections. She is interested in improving delivery of sexual and reproductive healthcare in resource limited settings. Palak graduated from Harvard College in May 2022, where she majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Previously, Palak examined the role of T cell metabolism in HIV pathogenesis as a research assistant in the Kwon Lab at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard.
