May joined the Lemieux lab in September 2021 as a clinical research coordinator. Her work in the lab is currently focused on investigating the immunological response of transplant patients to the COVID-19 vaccine. In general, she is interested in research regarding the molecular mechanisms of disease and novel therapeutic approaches to targeting different illnesses and disorders. May received her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Wellesley College in 2021, where she spent time during undergrad researching the concept of a displacement-based MRI contrast agent to monitor brain activity.
