Matteo Luban |
Matteo joined the Lemieux lab in October of 2021 as a research technician where he uses molecular biology techniques to investigate and characterize the function of Borrelia Burgdorferi bacterium’s outer surface lipoproteins. He completed his undergraduate studies in May of 2021 at the University of Vermont where he obtained a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. In his undergrad tract, Matteo took on a broad variety of courses and endeavors including a genetic engineering project investigating erythropoiesis transcription factor variants. Matteo is interested in public health and biomedical research as avenues to help others and improve human life.
